Dr. Maggie grew up in Moncks Corner, and she grew up around dentistry. After attending Berkeley High School and Presbyterian College, Dr. Maggie graduated from the College of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2014. As a member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association, Dr. Maggie is active in the local dental community. Dr. Maggie’s husband, Jeff, is a pediatric dentist at Jackson Pediatric Dentistry in Summerville, where they currently live with their mini Aussiedoodle.
Dr. Steve has been practicing dentistry in Moncks Corner for over 40 years. He and Dr. Julie opened Berkeley Family Dentistry in 1987. Dr. Steve only works Mondays and Tuesdays at the office now to make time for his many hobbies, including golf, fishing, and farming.
Alyssa grew up in Moncks Corner, and after working as a dental assistant in Charleston, she returned to hygiene school and joined our office in 2018. Alyssa is one of our full time hygienists, and she loves to teach patients about their oral health and oral hygiene.
Della grew up in Florida, but has called Moncks Corner home for over 10 years and is very active in our community. Della joined our office in 2018 as one of our full time hygienists. She is also available for Friday morning hygiene appointments for our patients with busy schedules.
Caroline is one of our dental hygienists, and she has worked with our office for over 10 years. In 2019, Caroline “retired” from dental hygiene, but we are so thankful that she returned to us part-time in 2020.
Whitney is our office manager. A native of Moncks Corner, Whitney started with our office in 2012 as a dental assistant and quickly moved to the front desk. She is the voice you’ll hear on the phone and the smile you’ll see at the front window as she keeps us all running smoothly.
Sarah is one of our expanded duty dental assistants. After beginning her career in Goose Creek and Summerville, she returned to her home town of Moncks Corner when she joined our office in 2017. You’ll see Sarah assisting Dr. Steve and Dr. Maggie, as she works to make patients comfortable and relaxed.
Ashley may be the newest face in our office, but she is certainly not new to Moncks Corner. Ashley joined our office as an expanded duty dental assistant in 2020, and she immediately fit in with our team. She works to assist the doctors, and you’ll always find a smile on her face.
